James A. Billings, age 90, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Monday April 28, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 4, 1934, in Black Rock, Arkansas, to the late James and Mary Parks Billings.
James was an Army veteran of the Korean war. He worked as an independent logger. James enjoyed working in his yard during his free time.
He is preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and one son, James Billings.
James is survived by his wife, Charmane O’Conner, four sons, Robert Steven Billings of Bismarck, Lonnie Billings of Bismarck, Jimmy Billings of Bismarck, Chuck Billings, one brother, Frank Billings (Loraine) of West Virginia, and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday May 5, 2025, at Hickory Grove cemetery in Bismarck with Bro. Allen Coker officiating.
