Local church pastors in Arkadelphia invite the community to participate in a National Day of Prayer event at noon Thursday, May 1, 2025. The 45-minute event will be held at Third Street Baptist Church, located at 224 Crawford St.
The Clark County Christian Academy choir will lead in song and the pledges to the American and Christian flag, as well as the Bible. Amanda Thomas will sing the National Anthem. Arkadelphia High School’s JROTC will post the colors.
Proclamations will be read by Clark County Judge Troy Tucker and Arkadelphia City Manager Gary Brinkley.
Prayers will be offered by Louie Heard, Llewellyn Terry Sr., Craig Seals, Tammy White, Darrell Warberg and Rick Mays.
