Rain chances for Arkansas will increase heading into Friday afternoon, April 18, lingering off and on through Monday morning, the National Weather Service in Little Rock said.
Rainfall amounts could range from 2″-3″ over portions of northwestern Arkansas, with lower amounts expected over the southeastern portion of the state.
After a warm, sunny week, the Arkadelphia area’s forecast is calling for a 30% chance of rain in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday, April 19. Precipitation may continue throughout the day Saturday, with chances increasing that night to 50%.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, rain will be likely, and possibly a thunderstorm, with a high near 78. Chance of precipitation is 60% throughout the day. Sunday’s low will be around 56.
Precipitation chances continue into Monday under partly sunny skies and a high approaching 80.
