The City of Arkadelphia issued 12 building permits with a total estimated construction value of $798,374 for the month of March 2025.
The year-to-date value of construction jobs in Arkadelphia now totals an estimated $2.17 million.
Records were obtained from the city’s Building Department under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act and include valuations of work except where omitted from reports. Here’s a rundown of permits issued in March 2025:
Hut Little Rock LLC contracted Advanced Building of Petal, Mississippi, to remodel an existing commercial space at 112 W.P. Malone Dr. St. F. Arkadelphia’s existing Pizza Hut will move its operation to the location once the remodel is complete. The job includes architectural and engineering firms from Kansas and is costing $465,054.
The Arkadelphia-based Craft Properties LLC, registered to Candace Michelle Craft, is building a new single-family dwelling at 309 N. 26th St. Construction will cost $250,000.
Bobby Bunn is adding a 40’X75’ open metal shed at B&R Construction Co., 707 Walnut St., for a $30,000 price tag.
In downtown Arkadelphia, the Dawson Education Service Cooperative is adding a larger sign to its headquarters at 711 Clinton St. Seiz Sign Co. was hired for the $7,000 job, which increases the sign’s size from 2’X4’ to 4’X4’.
