Major flooding is forecast for the Ouachita River at Camden.
The National Weather Service raised its expectations for flooding along the river from “moderate” to “major” in a statement on Monday morning, April 7, 2025.
Covered in the major flood warning is the Ouachita River from Jones Mills, to Arkadelphia, to Camden, to the Thatcher Lock & Dam.
