A message from the editor:

Fellow Arkadelphians:

A hiccup in our ad management system has forced us to step away from our news gathering responsibilities and address these unforeseen issues.

Picture it as a breakup: We’re in the process of dumping our old European “girlfriend” — the Germany-based AdSense, which has offered virtually no technical support in our time of crisis — for a much more attractive American girl, Broadstreet, whose representatives spent their afternoon talking with us via Zoom.

What this means for our readers and advertisers is that, over the next several days, we’ll be focusing our energy on migrating to the new system, and it will take some time. This transition also comes during a milestone 20th wedding anniversary that Yours Truly and His Better Half will be celebrating with a brief, but necessary, midweek vacation. Under normal circumstances we would have scheduled content ahead of our planned absence.

Readers: Expect fewer news items to be published in the meantime.

Advertisers: We will be adding a complimentary week to all existing agreements.

We are excited about the possibilities our new ad system brings. Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding during our down time. We look forward to returning to our normal routine.

Please email any questions or concerns to editor@arkadelphian.com.

Sincerely,

Joel Phelps
