Real Estate: 6 properties change ownership in Clark County

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Feb. 7-20, 2025, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.

A pair of Arkadelphia apartment complexes topped this round of real estate deals as Richard Womack’s JMRW Properties LLC sold 6,703-SF of rented living space. Arihant Investment LLC, registered to unlisted organizers from Sheridan, Wyoming, picked up the properties at 1103 Country Club Road, Arkadelphia, for $500,000. The transaction includes a 2,275-SF one-story unit and a 4,428-SF two-story unit.

In a $460,000 sale, Daniel and July Prator purchased property on Shuff Road (DeGray community) from Ginger Turner and Jason Rice. The 15-acre spread includes a 2,472-SF frame siding home and a mix of timber and pasture. Turner and Rice picked up the property in 2017 for $205,000.

Also in the DeGray community, Joyce Sullivan sold her home and acreage on Wingfield Road for $319,250. Buyers Miro and Anita Plaza, of Prosper, Texas, will be owners of a 1,925-SF frame siding home and 17.47 acres.

For $235,000 Clark County Arkansas bought a 2,554-SF office building at 402 and 406 Clay Street, Arkadelphia, across from the county courthouse. Previous owner, Gina White’s RWGW Properties LLC, bought the space for $170,000 in 2021. County Judge Troy Tucker has said his intention for the purchase is to relocate the public defender’s office, currently housed in a strip mall behind Southern Bancorp’s Pine Street branch.

James Moore bought a 1,416-SF frame siding home on Madden Lane, Caddo Valley, for $179,000. Previous owner Kelly Spratt bought the place for $99,000 in 2015.

Wrapping up the last two weeks of real estate transactions was the $100,000 sale of Ouachita River-front property on Posey Road, in East Clark County. Owners Jimmy and Cynthia Bolt signed off on a warranty deed with a vendor’s lien; the buyer is Nathan Bolt. The Bolts bought the place in 1998 for $54,000.
