Billy John (Johnny) West, Jr, age 63, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his home. Johnny was born April 5, 1961, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Billy John West and Ada Jean Bullard West.
Johnny was a retired Navy veteran of more than 22 years, serving several overseas tours of duty during Desert Storm. An avid coffee connoisseur, Johnny was known for roasting and grinding his own coffee beans in search of that excellent cup of coffee. He loved woodworking and had a knack for computer graphics design and will be missed for his unique and one-of-a-kind gifts.
A kind and gentle person, Johnny gave of his time selflessly and will always be remembered for his willingness to help family in times of need. Jobs as simple as installing an electrical outlet to helping move an entire household of furniture.
Johnny led a quiet life but enjoyed family gatherings, hanging out at the river with his cousin Chris and family, and cherished the time spent with his cousin Stacey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
