Jerroll Wayne Taylor, Sr., age 66, of Prescott, passed from this life on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Springs of Hillcrest Nursing Center in Prescott. He was born December 27, 1957, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Jerroll Labarron and Willie Pearl Cox Taylor.
Jerroll was a 1976 graduate of Emmett High School. He was a retired meat cutter at Taylor’s Grocery and worked on the bridge crew for the Highway Department for a number of years before his retirement. Jerroll was a member of First Baptist Church in Prescott. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his farm in his free time.
Jerroll was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Leslie Kuhn Taylor of Prescott, two sons, Jerroll Wayne Taylor, Jr. and Jeremy Labarron Taylor both of Prescott, one daughter, Felicia Renee Taylor of Prescott, one sister, Lynda Wilkerson of Camden, two grandchildren, Clayton Taylor (Kolby) and Cheyanne Taylor, and one great-grandchild, Levi Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday November 22, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Prescott (Gymnasium) with Bro. Frank Henson officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Friday at the church.
Interment will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon.
