Virgie Ann Spradlin, age 84, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at her home. She was born September 26, 1940, in Malvern the daughter of the late Nevin and Viola Norwood Kilgore.
Virgie was a graduate of Henderson State University. She taught school for over thirty years including several years at Goza Middle School and then retiring from Mabelvale Middle School. Virgie enjoyed traveling and going to the casinos in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pat Spradlin and one daughter, Jennifer Abernathy.
Survivors are one son, Wade Simmons of Haskell, three daughters, Patrice Judd (Brad) of Arkadelphia, Pamela Kuyper (Clark) of Arkadelphia and Janie Morrison (Brian) of Story, AL, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
