Court Appointed Special Advocates announced today that its second annual Light of Hope Breakfast event has been set for Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at 7:30 a.m.
As the program celebrates its 25th year of advocacy, the event will be a time of reflection on progress, success and hope for future impact in the Clark and Pike county communities.
The local CASA organization began in 1999 when a group of community leaders sought to give a voice to local children who had suffered abuse and neglect and were now entering the world of foster care.
Its vision is to provide quality volunteer advocacy in court for every child placed in foster care due to abuse or neglect.
