When the Electoral College meets on December 17, 2024, to cast the official votes for president, a Clark County man will be among those voting.

Among Arkansas’ six Electoral College members for 2024 is Eddie Arnold, a long-time Arkadelphia businessman who served several years as chairman of the local Republican Party. He is currently serving as Fourth District Chairman and has recently been elected as a member of the Republican National Committee from Arkansas, for which he will officially be sworn in for at the party’s national convention later this month.
Other electors are First District Chairman Sarah Dunklin of Dumas, Jennifer Lancaster of Benton, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, National Committeewoman Mindy McAlindon and GOP State Chairman Joseph Wood.
“It’s always an honor to be selected by your peers,” Arnold said. “It’s a big honor to be a member of the Electoral College.”
The electors will cast their votes from the Old State House in Little Rock.
