Three seats on the Arkadelphia City Board of Directors are up for re-election in 2024.
City directors run as non-partisan candidates and serve four-year terms. Arkadelphia’s city board is comprised of seven members, two of which are at-large positions and five of which represent one of five city wards.
The three positions currently up for election are 2, 3 and 5 — represented now by Chris Porter, Keith Crews and Jason Johnson, respectively.
See the map below the general description of the wards

To qualify as a candidate, one must collect and submit at least 50 valid signatures of registered voters who live within their ward, and must submit various completed forms to the city clerk’s office between July 31 – Aug. 7, 2024. More information about those forms is available at the city clerk’s office, located upstairs at Arkadelphia Town Hall, 700 Clay St.
