Donald Carroll Jones, age 72, of Amity, passed from this life on April 18, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent’s in Hot Springs. He was born on March 30, 1952, in DeQueen the son of the late Floyd and Barbara Carroll Jones.
Donald was a 1970 graduate of Waldron High School and a 1974 graduate of South Arkansas University. He served in the United States Army. Donald worked as patrolman for the Little Rock Police Department for many years. He enjoyed fishing, making jewelry, flint napping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife Joyce Jones, two sons, Donald Jones and Patrick Jones both of Florida, one brother, Dennis Jones (Diana) of Gurdon, one sister, Diana O’Bryant (Robert) of Gravely, three grandchildren, Kaitlyne Brown of Lawton, OK, Logan Brown of Japan, Allison Brown of Memphis, TN, and two great grandchildren, Rylee Lane Brown and Emerson Lennox Brown.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
