The City of Arkadelphia will host its first pop-up event on Thursday, April 18.
Titled “Bites and Beats,” the 2-hour event will begin at 6 p.m. on Clay Street. The event will feature local food vendors ThreeSeven Catering and Tacos Acapulco, and entertainment by The Jody Evans Band.
“Bites and Beats is unlike anything we’ve done before,” Special Events Manager Halle Posey said. “It’s a simple, 2-hour event with food and music. If all goes well, we plan on hosting a series of Bites and Beats pop-up events in 2025.”
Opening for The Jody Evans Band is Bearden’s Roots & Revolt. The country duo will begin at 6 p.m., followed by The Jody Evans Band at 7 p.m.
In addition to food and live entertainment, Veolia will be hosting a non-alcoholic beverage giveaway. More details on the beverage giveaway will be announced soon via social media.
“We cannot thank Veolia enough for signing on as our Bites and Beats beverage sponsor,” Posey said. “We’re excited to work with them on this event and future events throughout the year.”
