
Victoria (Vicky) Yvonne (Jackson) Plasek 73, of Gurdon passed away March 10, 2024 surrounded by her children. Vicky was born September 2, 1950 to David Paul Jackson and Nadine Terrell.
Vicky was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church. She was the former Chief Radio Dispatcher “Second Mom” for the Gurdon Police Department for a little over 30 years. Vicky loved to cook and bake cakes. If you ever received one of her famous cakes, you were a lucky one. She loved visiting with her Children and Grandchildren, she lived for them and making sure her officers made it home after each shift. Vicky was one of a kind, she was the most kindest, caring, and selfless person. She made everyone feel at home when she was around. God broke the mold when he made her.
Vicky is proceeded in death by her late husband Frank Plasek, father David Paul Jackson, mother Nadine Terrell, and grandson Mitchell Heath.
Vicky leaves behind two loving children, son Stephen Jackson (Shana), daughter Michaelyn (Satterwhite) Strother (Rebecca), two brothers Joe David Jackson (Terri) and Barry Paul Jackson (Stacy), five grandchildren Hunter Lee, Memorie D’Koda, Skyler D’Wain, Zander Dallas, Mia D’Nae , two great-grandchildren Kensington Grace and Zayden Dakota, her two bonus sons Chris Russell and Toby Garner. She also leaves behind many family and friends.
Flowers can be sent to 715 N. 10th in Gurdon or donations can be made to the Gurdon Animal Shelter.
