A temporary lane closure is scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, on Highway 7 in Hot Spring County, approximately 2 miles north of the intersection of state Highways 84 and 7.
Weather permitting, crews will begin blasting operations for the construction of a passing lane on Highway 7.
One lane of traffic will remain open except for a 15-minute interval when blasting occurs.
Traffic will be controlled through the work zone with the use of flaggers.
Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
