Doris Faye Mills, age 77, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Cornerstone Inpatient Center at CHI St. Vincent’s in Little Rock. She was born January 12, 1947, in Okolona, the daughter of the late William Edward and Ruth Laurine Wells Campbell.
Doris was a retired Wal-Mart associate. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Gurdon. Doris enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, music and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald E. Mills, one son, Shawn Lane and one granddaughter, Crystal Lane.
Doris is survived by three sons, Tim Lane (Beth) of Gurdon, Michael Lane of Decatur, AR and Kevin Key (Rachel) of Gurdon, one daughter, Tina Bosley (Randy) of Gurdon, one sister, Kathy Hill of Gurdon, twelve grandchildren, Kyle Berline, Tray Rainy, Clayton Rainy, Cade Lucio, Jude Lane, Olivia Lane, Abigale Lane, Dillon Stephens, Connor Stephens, Amber Blea, Mathew McClure and Ashley Wells (Eric), and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Crawley officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
