Anyone with a misdemeanor warrant in Clark County will have the option of a little forgiveness as District Court is gearing up for an amnesty event.
Amnesty Day in Clark County District Court is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024. Amnesty Day is a program where those with an active misdemeanor warrant — including traffic offenses or failure to appear for court — can have the $350 warrant fee forgiven.
The amnesty is for anyone who has an outstanding warrant in Clark County, Arkadelphia, Gurdon, Caddo Valley or Amity.
To take advantage of Amnesty Day, call the District Court office at 870-246-9552 ahead of the court date. Court will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until all cases have been heard.
