The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Tuesday, Jan. 15
10:30 a.m.
Officers were advised by Walmart that a pair of Camden suspects had stolen merchandise and fled the store in a vehicle. A traffic stop was made at Atwoods, and contact was made with the suspects, who admitted to the theft as well as thefts from Atwoods and other Walmart locations. The officer identified the suspects and released them “due to Walmart not having [sufficient] evidence at the time of the traffic stop.”
12:15 p.m.
Jeffery Luster, 53, was arrested at 1820 Clinton St. for third-degree domestic battery following a female’s complaint that he had thrown a space heater at her during an argument.
12:32 p.m.
A female resident of Elliston Place, 222 N. 20th St., reported her boyfriend had taken her vehicle without permission, likely to the bus station in Malvern. An officer advised her that police would keep a lookout for her car, a bronze 2016 Mazda CX-5.
Wednesday, Jan. 17
6 p.m.
An apparent residential burglary at Lark Place Apartments left a foyer door damaged.
10:30 p.m.
Christopher D. Williams, 28, was arrested at 651 Wade St. for third-degree domestic battery, refusal to submit to arrest and obstructing governmental operations following a 911 hangup call at that residence. A brief investigation led police to determine a physical altercation with injury had taken place.
Friday, Jan. 19
1:18 a.m.
Charles R. Robin, 60, of Gurdon, was arrested at 3rd and Caddo streets for DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, open container, no vehicle license, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.
8:45 a.m.
A woman at Pine Court Apartments, 120 N. 20th St., told police she had been the victim of a domestic battering and theft. The male suspect fled the scene.
1:37 p.m.
An officer was dispatched to Baptist Health Medical Center’s emergency room, where a female went to be treated after she said she was struck by a vehicle while traversing Walmart’s parking lot.
Police investigated a report of residential burglary at the 400 block of North 16th Street.
Saturday, Jan. 20
5:50 p.m.
A trio of females told police that one of them had been maced and struck in the back of the head by a known male suspect at the city’s River Park on South 1st Street. All three ladies said the suspect had hit them in the head. The victims were advised of warrant procedures.
Sunday, Jan. 21
8:32 p.m.
Police were summoned to a nursing home for a physical altercation between a male and female patient. Both suffered minor injuries.
