The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, Sept. 18

Officers assisted another agency with a felony incident.

Police recovered a firearm from a felony incident.

Saturday, Sept. 17

10:02 p.m.
Officers arrested a man at the Walmart parking lot for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. A woman phoned police saying the suspect had locked her and their children out of the vehicle. The suspect was not compliant with officers.

Friday, Sept. 16

Police worked a runaway juvenile case.

Police worked an “information only” case involving a juvenile.

Saturday, Sept. 17

5:04 p.m.
Deputies were summoned to a residence at the 3000 block of Highway 51 North for a report of a known suspect having driven over the complainant’s mailbox. The suspect was apprehended at the scene of an arson on Joan Trail, in Hot Spring County.

Friday, Sept. 16

3:50 a.m.
Deputies responded to a structure fire at 1414 Highway 53 North, Gurdon. Contact was made with the owner, who said the house had been unoccupied since July.

10:30 p.m.
A deputy responded to a domestic disturbance between husband and wife at a residence on Bowen Hill Road, Gurdon. The parties agreed to separate for the evening.

Arrests in Clark County

Friday, Sept. 16

Phillip David Landry, 42, 90-day sanction.

Saturday, Sept. 17

Odie Floyd Daves, 31, was arrested by Amity police for failure to appear.

Douglas Aurther Gray, 61, was arrested for violating a no-contact order and held for continued detention.

Chad T. Dixon, 36, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Sunday, Sept. 18

Skyler Holliman, 24, was arrested for criminal mischief, breaking or entering, theft of property and two counts of failure to appear.

Christopher Prince, 43, was held for continued detention.
