
Windy conditions are expected today and Tuesday, with sustained winds of 25 to over 35 mph forecast, the National Weather Service in Little Rock cautioned.
Expect wind gusts from 35 to over 40 mph, with some gusts possibly reaching 50 mph at times.
Winds in northeast Clark County, including Arkadelphia and Caddo Valley, are expected to reach between 30-35 mph, with winds in most of the area south to top out at 25-30 mph.
Another round of snowy precipitation is expected Tuesday, but chances are slim that the reading area of arkadelphia.com will see any snowfall. The nearest accumulation forecast is in the Mena area, which is expected to receive up to 1 inch of snow. Portions of Northwest Arkansas could get up to an inch of the white stuff.

Much colder air is expected to move into the state later this week. As the cold air moves in, a new storm system is forecast to impact Arkansas and could bring winter weather to some locations Friday. By next weekend, overnight temperatures across northern Arkansas could fall into the single digits and teens, with corresponding wind chill values below zero.
