The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, Oct. 1
Police worked a second-degree battery at the 100 block of North 10th Street.
Officers took an “information only” report involving a juvenile.
Officers worked a case of endangering the welfare of a minor.
Saturday, Sept. 30
Police responded to an aggravated assault on a family member at the 2500 block of Country Club Road.
2:30 a.m.
Samuel Lucas Dell, 32, of Little Rock, was arrested for public intoxication at 20th and Caddo streets.
4:44 a.m.
Devin Naylor, 32, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at Pine and W.P. Malone Drive for DWI following complaints from an I-30 motorist of a reckless driver near the 75 westbound milemarker.
Officers responded to a welfare concern involving a juvenile.
Officers worked a second-degree assault involving a juvenile.
Noon
A South 16th Street woman reported the theft of her vehicle registration tab.
Friday, Sept. 29
8:25 p.m.
Ebone Nicole Crockett, 34, of Hot Springs, and Brandy Diane Lum, 45, of Arkadelphia, were cited at Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. 6th St., for third-degree battery following a call of a fight at the apartments. Officers were unable to determine which party was the aggressor, so both were cited.
Police took a report of a stolen firearm.
Thursday, Sept. 28
11:06 a.m.
Officers investigated what was reported to be a possible vehicle theft at the former US Bank parking lot when an AllCare Pharmacy employee phoned police to say she couldn’t find her car. It would be a misunderstanding, however, as a car detailer hired to clean a coworker’s vehicle had mistakenly picked the wrong car.
Rape was reported at South 10th Street.
10:02 p.m.
Wheatie Cornelius Wells, 45, and Donna Lynn Morehead, 47, were arrested at a Robin Lane residence for third-degree domestic battery following officers’ investigation of a 911 call with only screaming heard on the landline.

Police investigated a report of terroristic threatening at Elliston Place Apartments.
Tuesday, Sept. 26
9:34 a.m.
An officer investigating a fender bender at Pine and Walnut noted the situation nearly turned into a physical altercation between one motorist and the other’s relative, who arrived at the scene in his own vehicle. The parties eventually went their separate ways.
2 p.m.
A woman reported financial identity fraud after Regions Bank contacted her to inform that her account had been closed. The complainant said she had never opened an account with that bank, but the fraudster apparently had enough of her personal information to start an account.
9:45 p.m.
Camron Jamaal Sanders, 18, of Ashdown, was cited for property theft at HSU’s East Hall following a complaint and subsequent investigation of a shoplifter who ran out of Tiger Mart with a box of Swisher Sweets and two boxes of e-cigarettes. That afternoon a clerk reported she was tending to the soda machine when a customer went behind the counter to grab the merchandise.

4 p.m.
A deputy responded to a residence on Bateman Road, Okolona, where a female reported a known male had threatened her. The suspect denied the allegations, and both parties were advised of legal procedures.
