Arkadelphia Mayor Scott Byrd, a dentist and motorcycle enthusiast, will recount his recent adventures in Mongolia

On Sunday, October 8 at 2 p.m., the Clark County Museum is hosting Dr. Scott Byrd, who will be giving a talk about his motorcycle travels in Europe in 2019 for the 75th anniversary of D-Day and his 2023 adventures in Mongolia.

Byrd’s World War II-era Harley Davidson, “Lucy”, will be on display for the event.

The museum is located at 750 S. 5th St. in Arkadelphia. The event is free and open to the public.

Also being celebrated in October is the 20th anniversary of the museum’s opening. The museum’s founders and their families will be honored during that event.

For the 20th anniversary celebration, Clark County Museum officials hope to recreate this 2003 photo with the people pictured. | Clark County Museum photo
