The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, Sept. 4
10:10 a.m.
Kellie Ishisha Harris, 43, of Arkadelphia, was cited at Family Dollar for theft at Dollar General, 2727 Caddo St., following a report from the DG manager that she had made off with a bag of charcoal and lighter fluid. Ashia Nicole Hendrix, 37, also of Arkadelphia and riding with Harris, was cited for obstructing governmental operations after giving an officer a false name.

1:10 p.m.
Lindsey Nicole Trejo, 28, of Caddo Valley, was cited at Dollar General, 2727 Caddo St., following a complaint from the manager that she was skip-scanning at the self checkout lane.

Sunday, Sept. 3
12:10 a.m.
A 911 call from a Henderson State University fraternity house sent police searching for an armed suspect fleeing from the residence. Officers located a suspect matching the description walking on Wilson Street, but did not find a handgun.

Saturday, Sept. 2
An officer took an “information only” report involving a juvenile.

3 p.m.
Officers investigated a report of breaking and entering to an outbuilding at the 1700 block of Logan Street. Nothing was reported missing from the shed.

9:59 p.m.
Tracy Lashall Stone, 21, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at Elliston Place Apartments, 222 N. 20th St., for disorderly conduct and public intoxication following a disturbance outside the complex. Upon learning the suspect was armed with a knife, the responding officer activated his Taser and aimed it, but did not deploy it.

Friday, Sept. 1
An officer worked a domestic battery involving a juvenile.

3:11 p.m.
A hit-and-run parking lot accident was reported at El Ranchito, 2805 Pine St.

9:09 p.m.
Ballah Musa Bangura, 47, homeless, was arrested at El Parian, 202 N. 10th St., for criminal trespass and obstructing governmental operations following a manager’s complaint of Dumpster diving behind the restaurant. Bangura apparently didn’t comply with an officer’s instructions to leave, instead calling the officer a homosexual.

Thursday, Aug. 31
3:58 p.m.
Officers responded to Perritt Primary School for a report of a physical altercation involving two men in the parking lot. No arrest was made.

Police investigated a felony case of second-degree battery at Evans Street.

Police investigated a report of fraud at Southwest Auto Collection.

Wednesday, Aug. 30
12:53 a.m.
William Paul Gatlin, 43, of Arkadelphia, was arrested for public intoxication at Country Car Wash, 2500 Country Club Road, following complaints of a drunk man harassing people.

11:05 a.m.
An officer responded to a residence at the 900 block of Walnut Street for a woman’s complaint of her landlord demanding she cut her grass and threatening to terminate her lease.

3:11 p.m.
A woman reported being harassed by her ex-husband. She was advised of procedures to obtain a no-contact order.

Tuesday, Aug. 29
12:30 p.m.
Property damage was reported at Arkadelphia Self Storage, 60 Robin Lane, where someone kicked two doors in and damaged doors to other units.

Theft of a firearm was reported at South 21st Street.

Theft of a firearm was reported at the 1800 block of Millcreek Drive.

6:11 p.m.
A South 11th Street man reported someone, likely a known female, stole his debit card and made about $250 in fraudulent purchases at local businesses.

Monday, Aug. 28
Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at the 1500 block of North 10th Street.

Monday, Sept. 4
9:05 a.m.
The attended death of a 59-year-old female was reported at South Fork Truck Stop, 2066 Highway 53.

Saturday, Aug. 26
8:47 p.m.
Tyrrance Hill, 29, of Gurdon, was arrested at Powder Mill Apartments, 2801 Twin Rivers Dr., Arkadelphia, for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A deputized security officer was asked by a tenant to remove a belligerent person from her apartment. The arresting deputy deployed his Taser twice with no effective results.
