Real Estate: 10 properties change hands in Clark County

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Aug. 10-24, 2023, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names.

Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $635,000 sale of a home and acreage at the 3600 block of Highway 51 South. James and Cindee Adams bought the 3,555-SF brick home and 54.56 acres of mixed pasture and timber from James and Sue Waymack. The Waymacks purchased the property for $165,000 in 1991.

For $260,000 Angelita Lopez-Batson bought a 1,775-SF frame siding home and 3.58 acres on Helms Road, near Arkadelphia. Previous owners William and Rhonda Cargile paid $160,000 for the property in 2019.

Andrea and William Wagner purchased a 2,002-SF brick home at the 300 block of Forrest Park Drive, in Arkadelphia, for $245,000. The home had previously sold to Nia and Nico Hobbs for $142,000 in 2019.

For $180,000 Brad Brumley, et al, bought a 1,922-SF frame siding home at the 1600 block of Gresham Street, in Arkadelphia. Christopher and Charlotte Watson paid $25,000 for the property when they bought it in 2022.

Jose and Beth Rivera purchased a 2,522-SF brick and frame home at the 200 block of Forrest Park Drive, in Arkadelphia, for $175,000. The transaction also included an adjacent wooded lot. Previous owners David and Whitney Ivy bought the properties for $177,000 in 2016.

For $150,000 Christian Stanich and Angela Suttle bought timberland north of Cub Trail, in the DeGray community. Previous owner was Terrell Timber Inc./Robert McCallum.

Michael and Heather Jensen purchased a 684-SF frame siding house at the 300 block of North 16th Street, in Arkadelphia, for $130,000. Previous owners were David and Candice Russell.

For $130,000 Cary Lynn bought a 1,064-SF frame siding house and 1.28 acres at the 100 block of Malvern Road, in Caddo Valley. Previous owners Sheri Rogers, et al, bought the property for $45,000 in 2021.

Cody and Sydney Miller purchased 21.7 acres of timber on the western end of Old Military Road for $123,000. Previous owners were Michelle and Joseph Cooksey.

For $100,000 Jeremy Allen purchased a 984-SF brick home at the 1700 block of Walnut Street, in Arkadelphia. Previous owner Timothy Efird bought the property in 1996 for $36,000.
