Eli Perrin

Eli Conly Perrin, age 21, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Warren, Arkansas. He was born July 27, 2002, in Hot Springs, AR.  

Eli was a 2020 graduate of Arkadelphia High School and a member of Second Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.  He was a Senior at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX, pursuing a career in forestry to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather he so greatly admired.  He had also been an active member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, gaming, snowboarding and most of all, spending time with his family.  Eli truly had a pure heart and lived his life with intention. He expressed many times that his goal each day was to be a better person than he was the day before.    

Eli was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Joyce Perrin.

Survivors are his parents, Jason and Misty Perrin of Murfreesboro and Shelly and Jarrod Bray of Arkadelphia, three sisters, Kate Perrin of Arkadelphia, Paige Kizzia of Arkadelphia and Madeline Bray of Fayetteville, one brother, Reese Kizzia of Murfreesboro, grandparents, Steve and Genyne Conly of Murfreesboro and Buddy and Sherry Ray of Murfreesboro, two aunts, Jenny (Jason) Miller of Maumelle and Lacey (Matt) Parker of Little Rock, two uncles, David (Shelly) Perrin of Hope and Dustin (Lauren) Ray of Denver, CO and six cousins.

A memorial service was held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Second Baptist Church, Arkadelphia with Bro. Stan Parris and Bro. Buddy Ray officiating. Final arrangements are entrusted to The Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.  Visit www.welchfh.net to sign the guest book.
