Bill Vickery to keynote Baptist’s Steak Soiree

Political strategist Bill Vickery will headline the Baptist Health Foundation’s Steak Soiree on Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Arkadelphia.

This year’s Steak Soiree will be held at the Ouachita Baptist University Walker Conference Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. It will feature a steak dinner prepared by World Champion steak griller David Nelson and his team as well as entertainment and a silent auction.

Vickery is a founding partner of Capitol Advisors Group and serves as the firm’s managing partner. For over 20 years he has been a fixture on the Arkansas political scene. Vickery’s career in politics began as campaign manager of Republican Tim Hutchinson’s successful U.S. Senate campaign in 1996.

In addition to appearing on national television, Vickery hosts a statewide radio political program, “The Sunday Buzz,” and appears every Friday morning on NBC affiliate KARK in Little Rock as a panelist on “Political Plays.” He also appears on “Capitol View,” a weekly political television talk show.

Proceeds from this year’s Steak Soiree will benefit renovations at Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia to third-floor inpatient rooms.

Tickets for the Steak Soiree are $75 and are available at baptisthealthfoundation.org. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. For any questions, please call Baptist Health Foundation at 501-202-1839.
