Ronnie W. Roberson

Ronnie W. Roberson, 80, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab in Arkadelphia. He was born September 11, 1942, in Gurdon, Arkansas, to Wayne “Hap” V. Roberson and Mildred M. Clark Roberson.

Ronnie proudly served in The United States Army Reserves. Ronnie attended Gum Springs Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, flying R.C. Planes, playing guitar and singing. He was known as “Rockin’ Ronnie” to his friends at Arkadelphia High School.

He was preceded in death by his father; his infant sister: Linda Lee Roberson; and his grandparents: Jesse and Eula Roberson and Giles and Lorena Clark.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother; his brother: Larry (June) Roberson of Little Elm, Texas; his sister: Brenda (Jim) Karber of Arkadelphia; his nephews: Allen (Amanda) Karber of Arkadelphia and Clint (Becky) Roberson of Grapevine, Texas; his niece: Jillian (Sean) Larkin of Dallas, Texas; his three great nieces: Avery, Abbie and Gracie Roberson and one great nephew: Tobias Hap Larkin.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Ronnie’s funeral service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Kenneth Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Okolona, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Allen Karber, Clint Roberson, Stan Roberson, Carey Roberson, Paul Holder, Sean Larkin, Alan Phillips and Dylan Clark.

Honorary pallbearers will be The Arkadelphia Prop Twisters R.C. Flying Club, Mike Powell and Doris and Daryl Love.

Arrangements are entrusted to Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay Street, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.
