
Ronald Edwin Robbins, age 77, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday November 21, 2023, at Hospice home care in Little Rock. He was born on August 1, 1946, in Sparkman the son of the late Buford and Addie Fleming Robbins.
Ronnie was a graduate of Sparkman High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Ronnie was retired from Alcoa and a member of Third Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working outdoors in his shop and most of spending time with his family and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maybelle Selph Robbins, three brothers, Lewis Robbins, Bill Robbins and Donnie Robbins, four sisters, Charlene Copeland, Melba Bussell, Rose Criswell and Martha Nell Robbins.
Survivors are his daughter, Tammy Gillis of Benton, one son, Dewayne Robbins (Stephanie) of Arkadelphia, three grandchildren, Josh Robbins, Connor Robbins and Riley Gillis, two sisters, Barbara Stewart (Alfred) of Sparkman and Joye Holman of Hot Springs.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 27, 2023, at Third Street Baptist Church with Bro. David Dillard and Bro. Greg Lathem officiating. Interment was in Delamar Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Paul Robbins, Rex Robbins, Clayton Robbins, Barry Francis, Raymond Crow and Charles Golden.
