As of July 1, there were 318 people listed as Clark County inmates by the state Department of Corrections website. There are three fewer inmates in the state prison system compared to June numbers. The inmates are distributed among several institutions across the state.
The total includes 301 men and 17 women. There are 161 black inmates, 152 white inmates, and five of other races.
The following Clark County inmates have a parole- or transfer-eligible date this month, although there are several factors that could affect any individual release for months or years:
Dominique Buffington, 34, is serving a 10-year sentence at the Ester Unit for a 2021 case of criminal mischief. The suspect in a domestic disturbance in Malvern, Buffington led police on a high-speed chase on U.S. Highway 67 into Clark County; he was ultimately arrested in a bean field south of Caddo Valley after crashing his vehicle and running a short distance on foot.
Jayce Fogle, 21, is serving a 6-year sentence at the Tucker Unit for a 2021 case of battery. An inmate in the Clark County Detention Center on drug charges, Fogle attacked a fellow inmate in the jail, sending him to the hospital; he was med-flighted to a Little Rock hospital due to the extent of the injuries.
William Guerrero-Zaripova, 43, is serving a 3-year sentence at the Ester Unit for a 2021 case of property theft. He stole components of an air-conditioning unit from an Arkadelphia residence and sold them for scrap metal.
Jarrod Harrington, 33, is serving a 3-year sentence at the Ouachita River Correctional Unit parole revocation of a 2019 property theft and breaking or entering charge.
Montego McClure, 31, is serving a 20-year sentence at the Grimes Unit for a 2009 case of aggravated robbery, theft of property, residential burglary and aggravated assault.
Deyvionne Osborne, 22, is serving a 2-year sentence at the Ouachita River Correctional Unit for a 2020 case of property theft and breaking or entering. Osborne was involved in a string of car burglaries in Gurdon; a total of six car break-ins were reported, and one resident captured the incident on a home security camera.
Joshua Pipkin, 33, is serving a 3-year sentence at the Grimes Unit for parole revocation of a 2019 case of terroristic threatening. Pipkin ransacked a home during a fit of rage and threatened to kill his family.
Robert Poe, 37, is serving a 4-year sentence at the Cummins Modular Unit for a 2021 case of drug possession. Poe was arrested in an I-30 traffic stop where police found multiple controlled substances.
Cleatis Sheets, 25, is serving a 3-year sentence at the Ouachita River Correctional Unit for a 2022 case of domestic battery. Sheets beat a pregnant woman in a Caddo Valley motel room.
Kevon Stewart, 21, is serving a 2-year sentence at the Grimes Unit for a 2019 case of property theft and breaking or entering. Working in concert with six other individuals, Stewart broke into eight vehicles in Arkadelphia and stole more than $5,000 in cash and electronics.
