Buck seeks re-election to SCAEC board

Danny Buck announced he is seeking re-election to the South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative Board of Directors.

Buck has served on the SCAEC board since 1984. He is a Certified Credentialed Director with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). Buck has completed the NRECA Board Leadership Program and has reached Director Gold status. He has served on both the Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC) and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AECI) Board of Directors at different times throughout his tenure. He also served as Chairman of the Board for AECC in 2003. Buck received the prestigious Pioneer Wall of Fame Award for 35 years of service to the Board of Directors of South Central Arkansas Electric.

Buck has owned and operated United Auto Sales and Salvage, one of the largest salvage operations in Arkansas, for the past 45 years. He is an active member of First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Buck served his country six years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as a military policeman. He and wife, Pat, live in the Hollywood community of Clark County.
