Phillip Loyd Pittman, age 71, of North Little Rock, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at his home.  He was born August 24, 1951, in Alpine, the son of Kenneth and Orene Smith Pittman.  

Phillip was a graduate of Amity High School and held a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.  He was a member of Sweet Home Primitive Baptist Church.  Phillip previously worked for Entergy and did consulting work.  He enjoyed playing the guitar, the banjo and fishing in his free time.  

Phillip was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Steven Pittman.    

Survivors are his mother, Orene Pittman of Alpine, his domestic partner, Patricia Ricks of North Little Rock, two sons, Alan Pittman (Meghan) of Little Rock and Eric Pittman of Alpine, one sister, Elaine Minton (James) of Story, two brothers, David Pittman (Charla) of Royse City, TX and Paul Pittman (Susan) of Alpine, two grandchildren, Evelyn Pittman and Marshall Pittman. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 5, 2023, at Alpine Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the family home, 81 Pittman Rd, Alpine.
