The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, May 15
Police opened a felony investigation of second-degree battery.

Police opened a felony investigation of forgery.

Officers took an “information only” report involving a juvenile.

Sunday, May 14
8:10 a.m.
A South 12th Street woman reported damage to a vehicle, likely from a hit-and-run of the parked car.

Saturday, May 13
Police opened a felony investigation of first-degree battery.

3:14 a.m.
A tow truck driver summoned to the parking lot at Baptist Health Medical Center, where he was to collect a vehicle for a felony investigation, struck the vehicle during the loading process, then had another accident while unloading it at the police department, where he backed into a Dumpster.

Officers investigated a report of a runaway juvenile.

12:10 p.m.
A Pioneer Inn man reported a known female used his debit card number to attempt two transactions, both of which were declined.

7:26 p.m.
A Walmart employee reported finding a plastic bag containing meth and paraphernalia on the sporting goods aisle of the store. Officers placed the bag and its contents into an evidence bag.

Friday, May 12
Officers worked a shoplifting incident involving a juvenile.

Noon
A woman reported leaving her wallet in a shopping cart at Walmart, phoning police the day after it happened.

9:04 p.m.
A Morrilton woman in town for graduation reported she’d been involved in a minor car accident at Pine and Malone. In a hurry to get to graduation, she asked the other driver to pull into the McDonald’s parking lot to exchange information, but the other driver instead fled.

Friday, May 12
Christopher M. Green, 42, was arrested for failure to pay child support.

Ronald Titus, 66, was held for continued detention.

Shelly Grice, 51, was arrested for a hot check violation.

Sean Bright, 28, was arrested for absconding.

Saturday, May 13
Asia Anderson, 19, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for shoplifting.

Sunday, May 14
Keyshaun Buckley, 22, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention.

Abel Ovilares, 33, was arrested for failure to appear.

Kapari Samson, 40, was arrested for failure to appear.
