The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, May 7
2:48 a.m.
Officers responded to Elliston Place Apartments, 222 N. 20th St., for a resident’s report that someone threw a large rock through her vehicle’s rear window.

10 a.m.
Police were summoned to a South 9th Street location, where a pedestrian suffered a bite in a dog attack. Contact was made with the dog’s owner, who was advised that she could be held liable for medical expenses as she was in violation of the city’s dog leash ordinance.

7:34 p.m.
Asia Lashell Lomax, 27, was cited at a North 24th Street residence for second-degree terroristic threatening following a report of statements she had made during a verbal altercation.

Saturday, May 6
7:11 a.m.
Theft of a comforter was reported at Mr. Suds, 1309 Pine St., where a white female was seen removing the blanket from a dryer and exiting the laundromat in a hurried manner.

Police opened a felony investigation into a report of breaking or entering to a vehicle.

9:13 p.m.
An Elliston Place Apartments man reported an unknown female tried entering his apartment. The woman showed up again while officers were present, but returned to her apartment.

Friday, May 5
6:45 a.m.
A Gurdon man reported losing his wallet, likely at the plaza on the 2600 block of Caddo Street.

Noon
Kimberly Michelle Cosby, 32, of Hot Springs, was arrested at a South 7th Street auto shop for criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers were summoned there to investigate a complaint of a female wandering properties and rummaging through a car.

5:16 p.m.
Jeffery Michael Smith, 41, was cited at Pioneer Inn, 115 N. 10th St., for harassing communications. The arresting officer noted that Smith had phoned the police department 28 times in under 2 hours, swearing at the dispatcher.
