A Conway woman died Wednesday in a one-vehicle accident in rural Grant County, according to Arkansas State Police.
A fatal crash summary says Jessica Obar, 36, of Conway, was traveling south in a Nissan Altima on Highway 35 when she crossed the shoulder and struck a fence, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Obar was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her body was taken to Memorial Gardens in Sheridan.
The accident happened at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, under clear skies and on dry roads, according to Trooper Brian J. Henley who investigated the accident.
The fatality marks the 147th on Arkansas highways in 2023.
