Group Living Inc. of Arkadelphia invites residents to join this week in celebrating the nonprofit organization’s 50th anniversary celebration.

The event is planned from 1-2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at the organization’s headquarters, 700 Main St., Arkadelphia. 

Longtime former executive director Jane Lucas will be honored during the ceremony. Lucas and two clients are set to speak to those in attendance. Arkadelphia Mayor Scott Byrd will also do a proclamation at the ceremony.

Weather permitting the celebration will be held outside at the mural parking lot.

The public is invited to attend.
