The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Thursday, April 13
11:05 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of the unattended death of an elderly male at an apartment complex on Twin Rivers Drive.

Police took in “information only” report involving a juvenile.

Wednesday, April 12
9:15 a.m.
A North 20th Street woman reported she had attempted to use her food stamp card but was denied, and later learned that someone had used it to charge nearly $220 worth of food to it.

11:48 a.m.
A North 10th Street woman reported damage done to her vehicle but was unsure what caused it or when it happened.

12:13 p.m.
A woman reported a former business partner reported more income than she received compensation for, using the complainant’s personal information to report it to the IRS. The suspect, she believes, provided services and received compensation but left her (the complainant) responsible for the higher tax liability.

Tuesday, April 11
3 a.m.
Michelle Lee Russey, 35, of Arkadelphia, was arrested for DWI following an investigation of a motor vehicle accident near 20th and Pine streets.

Police opened a felony investigation of felon in possession of a firearm.

7:21 p.m.
Indecent exposure was reported at Southview Apartments, 650 S. 5th St. A resident said on the night of April 5 she walked outside her apartment to witness a black male exposing himself on the porch of another apartment. She yelled at the man, attracting the attention of a neighbor who witnessed the act. Police were given a description of the suspect and the whereabouts of his residence. The incident was turned over to a sexual offender investigator.

Monday, April 10
3:20 a.m.
Officers were summoned to an attempted break-in at a South 16th Street residence, where a known female suspect pried open and broke a window while the residents were home, then fled the scene in a vehicle when a woman inside yelled at her. Police were called back to the residence three hours later when the suspect returned and got into a verbal altercation outside with a male resident who was staying with another female. Both parties agreed to go their separate ways after the male relinquished the female’s belongings.

Police opened a felony investigation of theft of vehicle parts.

7 p.m.
An Evergreen Drive man reported the theft of a license plate from his utility trailer.

10:22 p.m.
Officers met with a Walnut Street woman at Walmart, where she had pinged her stolen phone to an EcoATM. She was advised to call the company to retrieve her phone.

Monday, April 10
8:53 p.m.
Deputies were summoned to Killingsworth Trailer Park for a domestic disturbance between a man and woman. No arrest was made.

Jeffery Troxel, 51, was arrested by Amity police and held for continued detention.

David Spears, 22, was arrested for bond revocation.

Emily Cruz-Sierra, 25, was arrested by Amity police and held for continued detention.

April Pittman, 43, was arrested by Amity police and held for continued detention.

Demetryon Hunter, 20, was arrested for failure to appear at drug court.

Frederick Cook, 26, was arrested for failure to appear.

Kenneth Hudspeth, 27, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention.

Cullen Gulley, 25, was arrested for failure to appear.

Wednesday, April 12
Apodoca Cloro, 41, was arrested for a white warrant.

Jaquan Williams, 24, was arrested for three counts of failure to appear.

Thursday, April 13
Nicholas Black, 19, was arrested for DWI, possession of alcohol by a minor and no liability insurance.
