A two-vehicle accident Saturday left on person dead in Hot Springs.

Bruno Sanchez IV, 46, of Pearcy, was killed near 1957 Amity Road after colliding with another vehicle. According to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary, Sanchez was traveling westbound in a 2004 BMW 330I “at a high rate of speed” when a southbound Chevy Malibu entered the roadway from Rush Fork Road.

Sanchez’ BMW then traveled onto the south roadside and struck a tree, according to the report. The report does not name the Malibu’s driver.

Sanchez’ body was transported to the Garland County Coroner’s Office. 

The accident happened at 11:32 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, under clear skies and on dry roads, according to Cpl. Michael Reed who investigated the accident.
