James Gray Amburgey, age 75, of Nashville passed from this life on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at CHI St. Vincent’s in Hot Springs. He was born on March 15, 1948, in Texas the son of the late Fletcher and Louise Kinney Amburgey.

James was a United States Navy veteran. He worked as a truck driver for several companies including Millwood Trucking for twenty years. James loved drinking coffee, talking, and going to flea markets.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are one son, James Franklin Amburgey of Camden, one step daughter, Mary Anne Baker of Gurdon, one brother, Richard “Dickey” Amburgey of Cape Coral, FL, and one nephew, Mark Amburgey of Ft. Myers, Fl.
