The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, March 19
3:26 p.m.
A Ross Apartments woman reported she was followed home by a known female suspect she said had just attacked her during a party at The Ravine, 1205 N. 10th St. She was advised of warrant procedures in the event she wished to pursue charges.

Saturday, March 18
3:02 a.m.
Officers responded to a residence at the 1800 block of Clinton Street for a physical altercation between a man and woman. They arrested Jeffrey Luster, 52, and Jessica R. Giles, 37, on charges of third-degree domestic battery. Each gave police a different account of the event.

Friday, March 17
8:27 a.m.
Residential burglary and theft of an electric oven was reported at a South 11th Street house recently burned in a fire.

11:31 a.m.
A man reported being threatened by a known male.

1:05 p.m.
The manager of Pioneer Inn, 115 N. 10th St., reported a guest broke a window out of one of the rooms.

Police opened an investigation of property theft.

6:30 p.m.
Employees at Lucky Liquor, 3035 Pine St., reported a white male shoplifted a fifth of tequila and fled west on Pine Street in a white Chevrolet Equinox. Officers determined from the license plate number supplied to them that the suspect was a Delight man.

Friday, March 17
7:20 a.m.
A deputy responded to a parking lot accident involving two 18-wheelers at Southfork Truck Stop, 2066 Highway 53 North.

Thursday, March 16
12:20 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence at the 5000 block of Highway 8. The property owner, former sheriff David Turner, confronted the burglars, who then fled the scene in a vehicle. Turner pursued the suspects through the Shiloh community and onto Interstate 30 via Gum Springs. Deputies ended the chase at the 73 Arkadelphia off ramp and arrested Ivan Summerville, 41, and Damon Allen Young, 32, of Bismarck, for various charges.

2:56 p.m.
Deputies responded to an accident involving two vehicles at the 78 westbound milemarker of I-30.

4:36 p.m.
Deputies responded to an accident involving an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle at the 73 eastbound milemarker of I-30.

Arrests in Clark County

Friday, March 17
Tyler Bean, 32, was arrested for forgery.

Sunday, March 19
Orlando Dosia, 37, was held for continued detention.

Donald Bradford, 44, was held for continued detention.
