A poor outing for the Arkadelphia Badgers (4-3) led to a 8-2 loss to rival Malvern Leopards (3-6).
Headed into the top of the 6th inning, the Badgers held a 2-1 lead on the Leopards (3-6), but a hitting barrage by the Leopards brought on by multiple Badger errors led to seven runs in the final two innings.
A run batted in by 3B KD Young in the first inning and a stolen base by sophomore DH Huston Hooten led to the only runs of the evening for Arkadelphia.
The Badgers hope to rebound on the road in Ashdown Friday night as they take on the Panthers in another conference matchup.
