REAL ESTATE: ArDOT acquires florist shop; Pine Street salon changes hands

Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names.

Jeannie Toole purchased a 1,492 SF frame siding home and 3 acres at the 2000 block of Highway 51 in Joan for $240,000. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $235,653 through Arrest Bank. Previous owners Justin and Breanna Kirksey purchased the property in 2011 for $125,000.

Feliciano Canseco Martinez purchased a 1,471 brick home at the 1600 block of Walnut Street in Arkadelphia for $117,500. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $108,000 through Peoples Bank. Previous owners were Pinegrove Properties LLC, a company whose managing officers are Brady Harmon and Clint Walker. The property last sold in 2004 for $60,000.

The Arkansas State Highway Commission purchased 0.2 acres from Littlefield Oil Co. for $375,000. The company is registered to Aaron Littlefield of Fort Smith, which owns the Food Mart Shell station and 0.89 acres at 3039 Pine St. 

The Arkansas State Highway Commission purchased a lot at 921 Main St. in Arkadelphia for $430,000. The lot includes a 3,232 SF shop that houses Mary & Martha’s Florist

Ronald and Judy Young purchased a 2,200 SF frame siding home and 6.64 acres at the 1000 block of Central Road for $201,000. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $160,800 through US Bank National Association. Previous owners are Michael and Lisa Ayres, who bought the home and 11.32 acres in 2016 for $124,000. 

AMC UC Real Estate LLC purchased a commercial building at 1624 Pine St. in Arkadelphia for $211,000. The company is registered to Bradley Bibb, M.D., out of Jonesboro. The last business occupying the 1,680 SF building was listed as His & Hers Salon. Previous owners were Sarah Byrd-Price and Alexander Price.

Susan Brooks and Amber Colson purchased a 2,542 SF brick home and 5.18 acres on Red Hill Road for $240,000. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $242,424 through Paramount Residential Group Inc. Previous owner Angela Hendrix purchased the property in 2013 for $180,000.

Michael Kohanfars of Great Neck, N.Y., purchased three lots on South 6th Street in Gurdon for $130,000. The lots contain a 12,492 SF Dollar General Market. Previous deed holder was Stewart Commercial Properties LLC, which is registered to Steve Stewart of Mountain Home.
