With its mission to add quality of life to Arkadelphia residents, the city’s community engagement and special events coordinator develops various community and special events to bring residents together.
The city hosted several major special events in 2022, touting one of its main attraction as the Arkadelphia Festival of the Arts. Other events included Twos Day, Cinco de Mayo, End of Summer Blowout, Main Street Trick or Treat and Yule Love Christmas in Arkadelphia.
In 2023, the city has already held a Black History Month ceremony and celebrated the official opening of a new airport terminal at Dexter Florence Memorial Field.
