20 pounds of K2 seized in Group 6 bust

Drug enforcement officers seized 20 pounds of synthetic marijuana and half a pound of methamphetamine in a recent drug bust in Arkadelphia.

Working off of information from informants, the Group 6 Narcotics Unit arrested Orlando Lewis Dosia, 37, in a January search of an O’Connell Street residence he rented.

The search yielded 20 pounds of K2, a substance that is a mixture of plant material sprayed with synthetic psychoactive chemicals, as well as 232 grams of methamphetamine (0.5 pounds), according to an affidavit filed this week in Clark County Circuit Court.

Prosecutors have charged Dosia with trafficking a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, unauthorized use of property and maintaining a drug premises in a drug-free zone. He is subject to enhanced sentencing based on his status as a habitual offender.
