The Ross Foundation’s generosity led to a more bountiful holiday food box organized and distributed by the Clark County Ecumenical Food Pantry to over 400 local families.
Through a supplemental year end grant from the foundation, the Clark County Ecumenical Food Pantry was able to purchase holiday meat for families facing food insecurity during a time most families like to have the ability to prepare a holiday meal. As inflation continues to make purchasing food more difficult for many, the extra donation of cash allowed the nonprofit pantry to increase the amount of healthy food for each box.
The Ross Foundation Board has been a vital partner in the effort to combat hunger in the surrounding area. They have previously given food credits at the Arkansas Foodbank that were used to buy food. This latest act of generosity continues that vital partnership.
