Chandler exits chamber for Hostess position

Nikki Chandler has resigned as leader of the Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce.

Chandler, who started her role as executive vice president in summer 2021, made the announcement Friday in an email. “I have been so blessed to be in this role for the short time that I was,” she said.

The Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance made its goodbyes public via social media. “The Alliance and Chamber wishes to express our thanks and well-wishes to our EVP, Nikki Chandler, as she departs the organization for a new opportunity with Hostess Brands,” the chamber said Friday in a Facebook post.

“Anyone that has met Nikki knows she has a heart of gold and infectious laugh and smile. She’s a tireless advocate for our community and is driven to help others succeed. While we will miss her at the Alliance, we know she is off to do great things in her new role.”
