Juanita Hutcherson, age 93, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday January 18, 2023, at Courtyard Gardens in Arkadelphia.

She was born on June 23, 1929, in Delight the daughter of the late Ray and Effie Bateman Cross. Juanita enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Berl Elven Hutcherson, one son Bryan Gale Hutcherson, one daughter in law, Judy Beth Hutcherson, and two brothers, Fred Cross and Milbern Cross.

Juanita is survived by two sons, Terry Hutcherson (Patti) of Little Rock, and Elven Hutcherson of Arkadelphia, one sister, Juanez May of Wyandotte, MI, four grandchildren, Dena Jones (Barry), Leia Cast (Keith), Michael Saunders, Sherry Kuhn (Tracy), seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 21, 2023, at Delight cemetery with Tony Bell officiating.

Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
