
Marjorie Ann Renfro, 78, of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, December 8,2022.
Marjorie was born on September 8, 1944, to Jack Glen and Margaret Virginia Davidson Corn in Gurdon. Following her father’s death in World War II, she was raised by her mother and Lyman John Masey, who loved her as his own. Throughout her 32-year marriage to Jimmy Lee Renfro, they had two wonderful sons, Greg and Brett Renfro. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Gurdon. She retired from the Clark County Sheriff’s and Judge’s office.
Marjorie is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Lee Renfro; all of her parents; her brother, Thomas Ross Masey; and one grandson, Garrett Grey Renfro.
Marjorie is survived by her two sons, James Gregory Renfro (Dawn) of Gurdon, and Jonathan Brett Renfro (Cheryl) of Gillham; one brother, Lyman John Masey Jr. (Helen) of Hallsville, Texas; six grandchildren, Regan McKenzie Morehead (Taylor), Bret Ashton Renfro, Tyler Lee Renfro, Reed David Renfro, and Clay James Renfro; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service was held Sunday, December 11, at First United Methodist Church in Gurdon with Bro. Bobby Fischer officiating. Interment was at Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
