Larry McClain, age 84, of Caddo Valley, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock.

He was born September 1, 1938, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Alvin and Irma Walker McClain. Larry was retired from the United States Army after 23 years of service to our country. He was the former manager of the Caddo Valley VFW, former truck driver and worked for the Arkadelphia Human Development Center. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Royce Dean Ezell McClain; and one brother, Tommy McClain.

Survivors are one son, Danny McClain (Candie) of Manchester; one daughter, Debbie Golden (Allen) of Caddo Valley; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.

Memorials may be made to Manchester United Methodist Church or Caddo Valley Baptist Church.
